Piccadilly Rosé
Wine
Terre à Terre Piccadilly Rosé is a blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Mondeuse (rhymes with 'furs') from the estate vineyard in the Piccadilly Valley, Adelaide Hills.
The fruit is crushed, destemmed and chilled to the press, where it macerates on skins for three hours. The pink juice then settles in tank for one week before being racked to seasoned French oak barrels for fermentation.
Post ferment, the wine remains on lees for several months to build texture. Finally it is racked, cold settled and lightly filtered to bottle.
Salmon pink, Terre à Terre Piccadilly Rosé has berry flavours and a gentle tannin grip on the finish. Cellaring potential is two years.
